Welcome Kevin Stiles

"Divinity"
Art Model Lady Eastwick

The first nude shooting of Kevin Stiles was in November 2008... But it's not a sudden passion.

As a very experienced painter who taught art during more than twenty years, Kevin has always been attracted by the female curves. Artistic nude photography is simply a new way he wanted to explore since a long time, with success as you see it. And I'll add : of course. Because the shadows, the colors and the composition have no secrets for him.

So, Kevin Stiles photographs talented nude art models since seven months... with amazing results. Consequently, here is a new contributing artist that we'll follow step by step.

Welcome Kevin !

" I am a classically trained fine artist who went to Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut, Usa.

In order to make a living, I got my master's degree from Southern Connecticut State University and taught art for over twenty years at the high school level.

My real passion in art has always been portraiture and the female figure.

My paintings and drawings almost always lean in a surrealist direction and I find Remedios Varo to be one of my most inspirational influences.

As far as artistic nude photography, that's an area I've long wanted to explore and did my first shoot with Heather K in November 2008.
That experience opened my eyes to how much fun this whole genre can be.

"Heather in Shadow"
Art Model Heather K

Each new time is like a reverie... it's such a natural high for me - that it reawakens my soul.

My initial interest in shooting models was to utilize the imagery I capture and transpose them into one of my surrealist creations. I did that with Heather K and I am currently working on a piece from a recent shoot with Lady Eastwick.

Welcome Scott Brown

You'll find Scott Brown at deviantART, a feature in The New Nude Mag.

"Feelin It"
Art Model Joceline

"Walk Away"
Art Model Joceline

Scott Brown
is an Australian self-taught photographer, which means a tough apprenticeship, a clear preference for outdoor shoots, shared by a large majority of Australian photographers... and, of course, a deep and obsessive passion to become the experienced and successful photographer he is now.

His main focus is artistic nude photography, but Scott works in a wide range of styles. Portrait, art, casual, fashion, swimwear, glamour, nude, nude art, all is fine for him, the essential being to shoot and shoot again, to gain more experience.

"Classic Kollaboration"
Art Model Dravien

It's what we love at UdA : artists who know they learn every day, even from their errors, which often are happy hazards, obsessional artists who don't take them too seriously but who believe in what they do. Scott makes part of them.
And it's a pleasure to welcome him on board. A great one !

" If you have gotten this far you probably realise that my name is Scott Brown. I am based in Sydney, Australia, which is full of fantastic locations for photoshoots.

I have been taking photographs for years now as a hobby which in the past few years has turned to an obsession.

"Dual"
Art Model Anne

My focus was generally on nature and landscape. Having had no formal art or photography training I have found myself learning from trial and error - well some trial but mostly error ! That has meant many rolls of film, and in more recent years, somewhere in the vicinity of 40,000 digital photographs.

I did my first model photoshoot about 4 to 5 years ago and I haven't looked back since.

I have always loved art and I finally found something that I am at least not totally hopeless at. My first nude photoshoot was in January 2005 and now I have done several.

"Prop"
Art Model Joceline

Generally I prefer to do outdoor shoots over indoor/studio work and I love mixing human form in with nature.

I also find that outdoors is more relaxing, fun and adventurous. It gets my mind working more creatively."

They have worked with Scott... Let's hear them :

"Cave Girl"
Art Model and Illustrator Moonpanther

"Scott Brown is the very first photographer that I did a nude art photoshoot with... and to be able to do that feeling completely comfortable is amazing. Scott is genuine, funny and very professional (but in a way that makes you feel completely relaxed working with him). Not only have I done many shoots with Scott but he has also become a good friend. I recommend Scott to any model wishing to do fine art photoshoots."

"Fernwoods IV"

Art Model Baci

"I am writing in reference to Photographer Scott Brown and whilst on location with him, doing a photo shoot of September 07. Scott depicted the type of photos that I had aspired to achieve, as currently in my final stage of pregnancy. Not only was Scott professional in his approach - he made me feel assured and relaxed to get the result I was ultimately looking for. The pictures are clearly a stand out in terms of art and taste. It was a pleasure to work with Scott and I highly recommend him."
Tracy

"BRAE II"
Art Model Aurora

"Scott is the type of photographer who makes you feel at ease. He is extremely talented when it comes to shooting interesting angles and lighting. I did my first ever shoot with him and because of the positive experience have built a love for modeling. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a brilliant picture and would work with him again any day of the week."

Welcome Mosa (OnePixArt)

" I believe that the human body is a temple containing Spirit, it is a gesture of the vibration that is Universal Consciousness.

If God made the human body in its own form, I feel that the body, as a sacred vessel, should be looked upon respectfully, with the utmost reverence."Mosa, OnePixArt

"I bow..."

". . .to the universe that is my teacher"

"Silence in the presence..."

Once upon a time, an artist I didn't know told me thank you for my commitment in the art community.

As usual, the first thing I thought was :
"Wow ! But who is he talking about ?!"
,
immediately followed by the editor's questions :
"Who is he, what about his work ?...",
thinking of course that such a nice person naturally creates a beautiful work. A question of heart.

It's the short story of the discovery of an artist who turns me upside down.

With decades of classical art experience in painting, sculpture and installation, mixing with elegance all the "and" and the "or" between painting and photography, Mosa is a fine-art, editorial and commercial portrait photographer from Los Angeles, Usa.

"Unbearable lightness of being"
Art Model Sonata

Like Zwir Bogdan or Max Sauco , the inspiration of Mosa is endless, inspired and inspiring.

Romantic, spiritual, symbolist, Mosa gives back a sense to our life. Something beyond what we believe, as he says :

"We stage portraits to capture your sacred divine essence."

A wonderful and so tough goal... Because to remind to the Humanity how spiritual she is, far from all these false needs that greedy people impose us, because to tell to the human beings how divine they are, is the most difficult experience to do on earth.

Just think about that : without the artists, like him, like you, creators and art-lovers, what would be our world ? Just a huge supermarket. The doors of the hell.

Yes, Mosa inspires me, I confess it. I love his vision, his compositions, his models, his light, his themes. And I tell him a huge thanks. Welcome dear Mosa !

" Your work is truly amazing, beautiful and uniquely original ! Congratulations on lifting the bar in art and photography ! You bring class and integrity to the medium !"

Markus Goerg Images - Photographer
" You're an artist in the truest sense of the word. I know how to do a lot of things, but I wouldn't even know where to START to create images like these. My hat's off to you !"

"Helena Dancing"
Art Model Flak

For me, art is more than a beautiful picture.

It is deeply connected to social responsibility and educating people, such as when the artist was the “shaman in the cave.”

I feel deeply responsible for depicting the unresolved social issues in our society, including problems presented by organized religions, the issues of sexuality and women and race.

" We used to have such a fear of a nuclear war. I remember over one million people rallying to Central Park NYC. I remember shadows painted on side walks."

In the early eighties and mid-nineties, he pursued painting and showed his work in New York and Los Angeles.

Welcome Peter Lime

Peter Lime at Model Mayhem, deviantART.

"What I found"
Art Model Almost-Moon

"Annie elle-même"
Art Model Annie

Peter Lime is a passionate "nude photographer" from Lisboa, Portugal.

I've discovered his work a short time ago, but no need to watch him during years to see his talent.

Outdoors aficionado, in BW or color, Peter Lime's photographs are by turns romantic or wild, full of grace or powerfully erotic, and always full of life and contrasts.

"So good... II"
Art Model Almost-Moon

" Photography is an old passion, but always as an hobby.

I have several interests in this art, but my first pleasure is to shoot beautiful models, specially outdoors because we have in Portugal a lot of beautiful sites to shoot all year round !"

"The Thinker I intense"
Art Model Annie

"Enjoying the sun II"
Art Model Almost-Moon

After what I believe to be a long period of reflection, Peter Lime has decided to share his work, for these simple reasons :

" For the first time in my life, I'm going to show my work to a larger audience. Before that, I only had a small experience in a site where I posted a few photos. With this step, a large step for my short legs, my idea is to get some self confidence, and of course some inspiration."

Bravo Peter ! For your passion, your modesty and your kindness.
