Gabriel Olude : "Every Woman is A Masterpiece"

I shoot like I breathe.

The first thing which touched me was his signature : "Every Woman is A Masterpiece". He's so right and the 500 members of this Collective tell it a lot in their interviews.

The second thing is his great talent, his deep passion and his infinite creativity. Gabriel Olude has published 71 151 photographies and "Photo Artistry" in Facebook ! It is more than passion and I love that.

And finally, the third thing is that Gabriel Olude is from Nigeria. There are very few artistic nude photographers in Africa. In this magazine you'll find only Massalo from Angola. Fortunately, with his courses he plans to train 200 fine art photographers.

Thanks to him, I hope Africa will be soon on the fine art stage and I'm impatient to exhibit the best works of his students (an idea for you my friend).

Born in 1972 in Lagos, Nigeria, I have a deep passion for fine-art photography. Coming from a family background of photographers, I have taken my passion a step higher. I have been carving out a niche for myself in fine-art photography, a genre of photography not common in Nigeria.

My love for my art is as deep and endless as the oceans. Coming from a family of photographers, including my dad and my uncles, it was inevitable that I would choose the same profession.

As a budding photographer, I learned the basics from Don Barber, a seasoned pro who has trained thousands of students.

Later, I enrolled in the Complete Course at the prestigious New York Institute of Photography and further improved my skills through various other online courses.

One of these courses truly transformed my concept of photography: Sebastian Michaels’ course turned me into a true fine-art photographer. Ever since joining that course my works have been featured in numerous international online and offline magazines and I have been awarded international mentions by numerous professional Facebook platforms.

I love to share my knowledge, my vision and experience with my students and I plan to train at least 200 fine-art photographers, further developing the art of fine-art photography.

Donna Dean is a world class Artist and when I discovered that she would join the collaboration I was very excited that such an extremely talented woman would work with my muses! Marseille Photo, Sergio is a close friend since many years. Sergio is a very discreet and talented photographer I exhibit for the first time with a deep pleasure.

You won't know nothing about him except his kindness and his daily mails with some words and photographies to give me the courage and the strength to fight against the illness which kills me softly.

Sergio loves to walk in our city, Marseille, France, and his photographies are beautiful. From Street Life to perspective and lanscapes works, his palette is so large that I needed to choose and the Tag series called me. As pictures speak a thousand words, difficult to write for the writer I am, let's admire together.

I met Christian Tode on Facebook, my gold mine, and I was immediatly conquered by the large palette of his talent. From street life to poses with an assumed vintage touch to superb artistic nudes with all kind of women, Christian Tode passes from a genre to another with a surprising ease and a deep talent. I tried in his first exhibition and not the last to show you how much what I say is true.

I was born in Prague and at the age of 14 I got my first Flexaret camera. But even before I assisted to my father in his darkroom, was mixing developers, fixer, toners.

In the days when digital cameras first appeared on the market, I wanted to try them as well. But after three years in the electronic world, once, within one week, I experienced several strange coincidences that convinced me to return to the classical photography.

I got one of the B&W magazine issues with beautiful BW photos from the '50s showing atmosphere of american night clubs at that time. Then my grandfather passed away and when going through his ex-belongings, in the attic, I found couple of glass plates. These were seventy years old photo glass plates and – immediately – I knew that I´d wanted to process my photographies in this manner and came back to the classic or maybe vintage photography. I chose tradition. The degree of freedom that surrounds us today is higher then ever before. We have the opportunity to choose our way, which was not always obvious. This option however has its drawbacks in the application. Sometimes we are waisting time in new and innovative approaches and security of truthful expression is fading away.

For me photography hides a lot of beauty inside. Beauty that we can see around us. It is a mysterious world of dialogue between the photographer and the resulting photo and – finally – between viewer and the photo. A world that allows you to look inside, through lens into the other soul. Photography is soul of all the moments that have just disappeared.

"Where have you been"

I believe that everyone has his own god, never mind the name. My god likes natural light. That´s why I prefer taking photos outside, in the open air. We weren't born for living in studios . I am pilgrim looking for my world of morning brumes full of hidden emotions.
