Welcome Mosa (OnePixArt)

" I believe that the human body is a temple containing Spirit, it is a gesture of the vibration that is Universal Consciousness.

If God made the human body in its own form, I feel that the body, as a sacred vessel, should be looked upon respectfully, with the utmost reverence."Mosa, OnePixArt

"I bow..."

"Silence in the presence..."

Once upon a time, an artist I didn't know told me thank you for my commitment in the art community.

As usual, the first thing I thought was :
"Wow ! But who is he talking about ?!"
,
immediately followed by the editor's questions :
"Who is he, what about his work ?...",
thinking of course that such a nice person naturally creates a beautiful work. A question of heart.

It's the short story of the discovery of an artist who turns me upside down.

With decades of classical art experience in painting, sculpture and installation, mixing with elegance all the "and" and the "or" between painting and photography, Mosa is a fine-art, editorial and commercial portrait photographer from Los Angeles, Usa.

"Unbearable lightness of being"

Like Zwir Bogdan or Max Sauco , the inspiration of Mosa is endless, inspired and inspiring.

Romantic, spiritual, symbolist, Mosa gives back a sense to our life. Something beyond what we believe, as he says :

"We stage portraits to capture your sacred divine essence."

A wonderful and so tough goal... Because to remind to the Humanity how spiritual she is, far from all these false needs that greedy people impose us, because to tell to the human beings how divine they are, is the most difficult experience to do on earth.

Just think about that : without the artists, like him, like you, creators and art-lovers, what would be our world ? Just a huge supermarket. The doors of the hell.

Yes, Mosa inspires me, I confess it. I love his vision, his compositions, his models, his light, his themes. And I tell him a huge thanks. Welcome dear Mosa !

" You're an artist in the truest sense of the word. I know how to do a lot of things, but I wouldn't even know where to START to create images like these. My hat's off to you !"

For me, art is more than a beautiful picture.

It is deeply connected to social responsibility and educating people, such as when the artist was the “shaman in the cave.”

I feel deeply responsible for depicting the unresolved social issues in our society, including problems presented by organized religions, the issues of sexuality and women and race.

Welcome Peter Lime

"What I found"

"Annie elle-même"
Art Model Annie

Peter Lime is a passionate "nude photographer" from Lisboa, Portugal.

I've discovered his work a short time ago, but no need to watch him during years to see his talent.

Outdoors aficionado, in BW or color, Peter Lime's photographs are by turns romantic or wild, full of grace or powerfully erotic, and always full of life and contrasts.

"So good... II"
Art Model Almost-Moon

" Photography is an old passion, but always as an hobby.

I have several interests in this art, but my first pleasure is to shoot beautiful models, specially outdoors because we have in Portugal a lot of beautiful sites to shoot all year round !"

"Enjoying the sun II"
Art Model Almost-Moon

After what I believe to be a long period of reflection, Peter Lime has decided to share his work, for these simple reasons :

" For the first time in my life, I'm going to show my work to a larger audience. Before that, I only had a small experience in a site where I posted a few photos. With this step, a large step for my short legs, my idea is to get some self confidence, and of course some inspiration."

Bravo Peter ! For your passion, your modesty and your kindness.

Charles E. Nevols, welcome!

" I'm a semi professional photographer and graphic artist, interested in abstraction and fusing drawing, painting and photography, also body painting of my abstract drawings. I'm also interested in how these painted canvases move and change in space and time. Thus, I want to create sequential series of images of one person over time, becoming inobtrusive, capturing without disturbing. What is still possible, what is really new and unexplored, what is art ?" Charles E. Nevols

"Birth"

And that's all what he wrote about him. It's like the prologue of a novel... This kind of wide opened introductions we're trying to write, sometimes, to open the mind of our lector before he enters in our story.

With three questions in this case, and not the easiest ones :

" What is still possible ?
What is really new and unexplored ?
What is art ? "

... I remember some great authors who wrote that nothing is really new on earth, what could be a sad answer to his wonderful and so deep second question.

"Caught in transition"
Art Model Kat Love

Try now.

Shake your mind, quietly lied on your bed to avoid the noisy civilisation, and search in yourself a new idea. I mean something really new ! Unknown, never thought before you !... Never seen, never said. And you'll see how much this question is disturbing. Just try and tell me.

As for the other question "what is art ?", I've found this simple and famous quote :

" It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."
Antoine de Saint Exupery.

Art is like that, something indefinable since the beginning of the humanity. Subjective and so divine.

But my purpose is not to discuss about the very interesting and philosophical questions of this so secret artist who loves the mistery.

"Tritone"

The work of Charles E. Nevols, from San Francisco, Usa, is simply wonderful.

Do I really need to talk about his outstanding compositions, that give us some clues about his consuming creativity and his particular way to direct his inspiring art models, Kat Love for example, one of the best of our times ? In amazing settings, in improbable poses that turn us as upside down as his art models.

It's been a long time I'm watching him, always impressed by the rare quality of all his photographs, mainly in BW.

Without no doubt, even if he calls himself a "semi-professional" photographer, Charles E. Nevols makes part of the great creators that I'm deeply honoured and grateful to welcome.

"Nude"
Art Model Alki

From Thessaloniki, Greece, at 39 years old, Avramidis Mosses is a fine art nudes photographer I met through the favorites of... a lot of contributing artists.

In BW or in color, mainly in studio and indoors settings, I find in his beautiful compositions the grace of a rare and harmonious simplicity.

Without sophisticated make-up or superfluous accessories, Avramidis Mosses works with soft and discreet backgrounds lighting up the poses and the expressions of his art models.

"Nude beauty"
Art Model Marylu

Great lover of the feminine curves, passionate and talented, as you can see it, his work is really a creative tribute to the natural look, where his interpretation of space and of light makes this special signature I'm daily searching for like Lancelot the Holy Grail.

It's for these reasons I wanted to feature him. He told me "yes !", I tell him thanks !

"The cube"

" My passion is to capture and share the sensual beauty of the female form. The female nude is for me the most compelling and provocative natural form, the Nature's finest gift.

I'm so moved by his aesthetic that I want to translate what I feel into still images.

In my photographs I try to capture the beauty of humanity, just as the ancient Greek sculptors attempted to bring life into stone.

The body language is never indifferent. It touches us with very deep feelings, the feelings of life, love and passion.

I have very special feelings for my models. They are for me a recipe made of trust, understanding and humour.

Friendship allows my models and I to relax in such a way that my camera becomes simply a tool for capturing the unique moments we share.

Olivier De Rycke, from Paris, France, has seized the chance to become a professional photographer when he has been discovered in 2005 by a web site for nudes.

Since then, Olivier is working his favorite topic which is a perpetual flirt between photography of charm, fashion and artistic nudes, a soft mixture which gives all its specificity to his photographs.

2008 sees the released of its first book "My body, My Soul" from the french editing house Ragage.

Apart from that he still gets involved in subjects as landscapes, ambiance and lomography !
